How To Apply


Requirements


There are no special requirements.
World Link Education France Programs are open to any person worldwide provided they are:
i) In good health
ii) Within the age limit

Paris programs:
18 - 65 years old (summer camps excluded)
Nice programs:
16 - 65 years old
Chambéry:
16 - 65 years old
Annecy:
16 - 65 years old
Bordeaux:
17 - 65 years old

Step 1 - Send the Application (and accompanying documents) by fax, mail or email to the nearest World Link Education Office

i) Application Form (please print neatly, using capital letters)
ii) Passport Copy (only the page with photo and personal details)*
iii) Application Fee USD $100 (copy of International Money Order, Bank Receipt or Bank Check** verifying payment - see 'Payment of Fees' below)

* Students waiting for their passport to be processed can first fax the Application with payment. A copy of the Passport can be faxed later.
**The Application is not complete until the original check is received.

Applications are to be made no later than 6 weeks before the first day of the Program. If the deadlines cannot be met, please contact WLE.

Step 2 - Send all ORIGINALS of the faxed documents and payment by MAIL



(we need the original documents to complete the application)

Mail items (i) (ii) and (iii) (if paying by bank check or international money order) along with 2 passport/wallet sized photos to the nearest World Link Education Office. For WLE office contact details, click here


Step 3 - Acceptance


Within 10 days of receiving your Application, we will send you:
(i) A confirmation that we have received your Application
(ii) An Acceptance Notice
(iii) An Enrollment Form
A placement in the program will be held for you until you enroll.


Step 4 - Enrollment

Please read World Link Education's program information and Terms and Conditions before enrollment. To enroll and confirm your placement in the program:
  1. Complete the Enrollment Form
  2. Pay Program Fees by the due date (no later than 4 weeks before the 1st day of the Program) - see 'Payment of Fees' below.
  3. FAX the Enrollment Form (1st page only) and a copy of Bank Receipt or Bank Check verifying payment to WLE.
Within 5 working days of receiving your Enrollment Form, we will send you:
i) A confirmation that we have received your Enrollment Form and Fees
ii) Welcome Information


Step 5 - Visa


Citizens of European Union member countries do not need Visas to enter France. Students coming from countries outside the European Union should contact their nearest French Embassy or Consulate for information on obtaining a visa.

Upon payment of Program Fees we will provide you with a Letter of Invitation confirming your enrollment in our French program.

Note: A processing fee will be charged for any requested changes to the Letter of Invitation. Mailing costs will also be charged for any Letter of Invitation sent by express mail.


Step 6 - Arrival Details


Arrival details must be given at least 10 days before arrival; otherwise arrival transfer services will not be available. Send a Fax or Email to advise the Europe Office of the:
· Date of Arrival
· Time
· Flight number
· Place of Departure

Arrival Transfer Service *
Paris: Free transfer service from point of arrival to accommodation.
Nice: Free transfer service from point of arrival to host family
accommodation only (between 8am and 10pm).
Bordeaux: Free transfer service from point of arrival to host family
accommodation only (between 8am and 10pm).
Annecy: Free transfer service from point of arrival to accommodation.
Chambéry: Free transfer service from point of arrival to accommodation.

* Someone will be meeting students at their point of arrival and help them to their accommodation.

Students staying in an apartment must advise us of their arrival details so that arrangements can be made to provide them with the keys to the apartment.

Payment of Fees

(Application or Program Fees) For Application, pay the non-refundable Application Fee USD $100 (or Late Application Fee USD $160)
For Enrollment, pay the applicable Program Fees.

Payment may be made in either one of 2 ways:

1) By Bank Transfer
Your bank will provide you with a Receipt that must be attached to your Application Form (or Enrollment Form) and sent to us in accordance with Step 1. This is to verify payment. For payment details please contact WLE

2) By Bank or Cashier's Check or International Money Order
Make the money order or bank check payable to: 'WorldLink Education'
Send the check by courier or registered mail in accordance with Step 2. WLE is not responsible for any losses or misplacement in the mail. Private checks are not accepted.
